The RNeasy DSP MinElute Cleanup Kit provides a manual procedure for cleanup and concentration of RNA using specialized RNeasy MinElute spin columns based on silica-membrane technology. For use with in-vitro diagnostic QIAGEN products that list the RNeasy DSP Cleanup  Kit as an accessory.

The RNeasy DSP MinElute Cleanup Kit provides fast and easy methods for cleanup and concentration of pre-purified RNA.

The RNeasy DSP MinElute Cleanup Kit uses a simple bind–wash–elute procedure. A guanidine isothiocyanate-containing lysis buffer and ethanol are added to the sample to create conditions that promote selective binding of RNA to the RNeasy MinElute membrane. The sample is then applied to the RNeasy MinElute spin column. RNA binds to the silica membrane, contaminants are efficiently washed away, and pure concentrated RNA is eluted in a small volume of RNAse-free water. RNA purified with the RNeasy DSP MinElute Cleanup Kit can directly be used for sensitive analytical detection in downstream assays, such as qPCR. The specific procedure can be found in the instructions for use of the corresponding downstream applications.
