Can the miScript Plant RT Kit be used to quantify animal miRNAs?
No, the miScript Plant RT Kit should not be used to quantify animal miRNAs (human, mouse, rat, etc.). The miScript PCR System, including the miScript II RT Kit (218160, 218161), should be used for quantification of animal miRNAs.
