QIAstat-Dx connectivity, powered by QIAsphere, is available for your lab’s QIAstat-Dx instruments no matter where your lab is located. You can connect through a LAN or a 4G router – both offer the same cybersecurity features for your peace of mind.
Connection options
Your QIAstat-Dx instruments will be directly connected to your institution’s LAN. The QIAsphere Base will be connected to the same LAN, either by ethernet cable or your institution’s WiFi network. Information from your QIAstat-Dx Analyzers will then be sent to the QIAsphere cloud, securely accessible from your connected devices.
We’ll provide you with a 4G router and SIM card to create your own local network. Your QIAstat-Dx instruments and QIAsphere Base will be directly connected to the router. Information from your QIAstat-Dx Analyzers will then be sent to the QIAsphere cloud, securely accessible from your connected devices.
Getting set up
Step 1 – Contact us to sign up for QIAsphere
When you’re ready to get started with QIAstat-Dx connectivity, simply contact us and let us know. Our Digital Services team will provide you with the pre-installation form for QIAsphere and help you fill it out.
Step 2 – Receive the installation package
Next, we’ll activate your QIAsphere license and ship out your QIAsphere installation package, including the QIAsphere Base gateway device.
Step 3 – Install QIAsphere with our support
Finally, we’ll help you install your new QIAsphere package so you can start using your QIAstat-Dx connectivity features right away. We can work with you remotely or one of our team members can work with you on site.
